Vic and Helen on the train
One of the engines restored by Vic and his team.

Vic was the founder Manager of the Llanberis Lake Narrow Gauge Steam Railway. Along with his wife Helen and his team, they helped to restore the railway back in the 60’s . Helen who worked in marketing at the railway and any other job that Vic could rope her into said that Vic was a stickler for detail liked to keep everything as original as possible but at least I managed to convince him to change the colours of the steam engines from a uniform maroon to the more brighter colours of red yellow and green that we see today. Vic is also an author and has published many books on steam engines and railways.
