With three homes and a payroll of around 200 people, natural wastage means we are always looking to recruit new staff for each of our homes. It is worth noting however that our staff turnover rates are some of the lowest in Wales because we try very hard to be a good employer.
Listed below are some of the jobs we want to fill—though this will not be a comprehensive list as things change from day to day. RMN/RGN
We employ around 30 trained nurses and always want to hear from anyone keen to work within elderly care. Although we are the biggest independent provider of care in the area, we are still a small company reliant upon the skills of our senior nurses. As such we do not suffer the bureaucracy of the NHS and we give our nurses far more autonomy and much greater flexibility. If you would like to escape the straight jacket of the public sector or return to nursing with an employer who truly values you, then give us a call. Care Assistants
The unsung heroes of long-term care, care assistants form the backbone of our care staff. You don’t even necessarily have to be experienced as we recruit on the basis of your potential. We want people who are gentle and caring and committed to our clients well-being, and then we will train you and train you and train you. All our care staff either hold an NVQ qualification or are training for one—and the same would be true of you. Of course if you already hold NVQ II or NVQ III in care we definitely want to talk to you. As to the package we would offer you, it will include pay rates matched to your qualifications, the day off on your birthday, flexible contracts and the knowledge that you are working for an industry leader.
